On behalf of my workforce partner secondary school in Leeds LS16, we are looking for an outstanding teacher of English with a proven track record of success and raising pupil outcomes to join our English Department. We are looking for an English teacher who is available full time to join our growing English Department until the end of the academic year, You will join a high-performing English Team with a supportive network of Senior Leaders. The role is likely to run in to the next academic year also.

The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers.

You will have:
•A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status
•The ability to teach to GCSE Level standard
•Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement
•Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners

The English department has its own suite of rooms, each equipped with an interactive whiteboard and visualiser. The department also has its own dedicated suite of laptops. In addition, the department makes extensive use of the learning resource centre which includes the library, flexible learning space and IT facilities. All teachers are provided with their own laptop and mini-ipad.
