Your new role
As a Senior Group Technical Accountant, you'll be leading in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements as well as ensuring monthly, quarterly, interim and year end results are in compliance with group policies and IFRS.
Managing the timeline and submission of the monthly consolidation process of the group figures for a multinational business
Assisting in the review and analysing of monthly figures and submission of budgets and forecasts.
Leads the preparation of the Group IFRS financial statements, including ownership of notes to the accounts, produced to auditable standards
Own the process to produce other financial sections of Group reporting
Contributes to the production of the Board and Group Executive Committee monthly reporting as directed by the Head of Group Reporting
Performing various types of ad-hoc analysis, and supporting Head of Group reporting in project activities
Preparing Corporation tax and Deferred tax disclosures for interims and year end consolidated financial statements.
Acting as the main point of contact, supporting the Head of Group Reporting on external audit queries
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified ACA / ACCA
Experience of preparing consolidated financials statements under IFRS is a must
Experience in working with group consolidation is a must
Good IFRS knowledge of technical standards - IFRS 9, IFRS 10, IFRS 16
Strong computer skills
Advance level in Excel
Fluency in English is mandatory - an additional language is an advantage.
