Cosma Casting UK is an operating unit of Magna International, one of the world's premier global
automotive suppliers. Magna's pioneering technology and creativity allows our customers to ask
for solutions that lie beyond what they previously thought was possible.

Cosma Casting UK are establishing a manufacturing facility in Telford in the UK. For this new
venture, we are looking for a Operator on a temporary basis. Cosma Casting UK will specialise in high pressure die-
casting that designs and builds medium to large aluminium die-cast automotive components.

Hours:

- 2 shift rotation 6:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Quality Engineer and indirectly to the Team Leader, the Quality Inspector
will be part of a dynamic team responsible for in-line inspection of castings at different
manufacturing processes, ensuring that a 'no fault forward' culture is maintained by ensuring that
the customer quality standards are adhered to.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate a safe working environment
Ensure all production processes conform to current quality standards
Manufacture parts in time to satisfy customer demand
Strive to improve production processes
Adhere to the company escalation process to ensure non-conforming material is dispositioned in the correct way
Confidence to adopt a 'STOP-CALL-WAIT' if a non-conforming part is found
Quality check of parts produced
Record hourly performance and Key characteristics of parts produced
Able to adapt to an evolving environment
Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all Health and Safety Environmental requirementsPersonal Attributes:

Results driven with good written and oral communication skills
Able to work in a faced paced team environment
Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
Self-motivated, able to initiate and follow tasks through to completion
Able to commit to overtime requirements as and when required
Eligibility to work in the UK
Experience:

Proven Quality Inspection experience
Experience of problem solving
Use of 5S to improve production environmentWorking Environment:
Fast paced Office and Manufacturing Plant environment characterised by temperature extremes,
loud noise, considerable tow motor traffic and pressure caused by deadlines, interruptions, team
member problems.
