Default for employees with IT related job roles Capita are looking for a 0365 Messaging Productivity Consultant - Homebased Role. We're supporting our clients as they adapt to a new world in the wake of COVID-19. We're now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possible.

Overview of the Role Messaging Productivity Consultants are primarily responsible for delivering projects that relate to messaging and social collaboration within organisations. With a particular focus on Exchange Online, and Microsoft Teams for IM and Presence, they are responsible for owning and delivering Messaging focussed O365 projects, designing and delivering suitable solutions in line with customers needs and expectations. This includes owning, as required, the pre-sales and estimations, presentations, workshops and service delivery, ensuring a positive custom relationship is maintained.

Responsibilities The main responsibilities are detailed below, although the post holder would also be expected to perform any other duties which might reasonably be required by the business.
  • Assist in pre-sales activities for new business opportunities
  • Deliver customer focussed presentations and workshops demonstrating our products and services
  • Act as the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development
  • Gather customer requirements in order to prepare project plans and timescales of delivery
  • Work through customer specifications and develop solutions in line with project delivery requirements
  • Take ownership for technical delivery
  • Propose and/or design technical solutions
  • Manage SharePoint migrations and upgrades
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure project and service delivery meet customer expectations
  • Work closely with Practice lead to assist in the continual development of the team

Knowledge

Essential
  • Exchange 2013/2016/2019/ Exchange Online
  • Exchange Online Protection
  • Microsoft Teams Messaging
  • Strong technical background
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Proven consultancy experience within a similar role
  • Proven ability to lead workshops and run presentations to both a technical and business audience
  • Demonstrate competence in oral and written communication
  • Able to deal with customers/suppliers/peers at all levels in a professional manner
  • The ability to prioritise effectively, both with their own workload and within the team
  • The ability to use initiative to solve problems
