Head of Product Development
CCL Logistics with Technology is here to Deliver Happiness for our People, our Customers and our Suppliers.
For over 20 years, we have been providing logistics services by Road, Air and Sea and now have 1500 customers throughout the UK.
Having invested over £10 Million in our Multicarrier Shipping Technology, which up until recently was mainly provided free to our logistics customers, we are now at the start of a new and exciting challenge of Commercialising our Technology by selling it to both existing logistics customers and non-logistics customers.
As a group our aspirations are big! And we want to grow our Technology SAAS business rapidly, and that's where you come in.
Around the world, customers demand a better service. Products that match what they need for their growth and success. As a key member of the Technology leadership team, the Head of Product Development will support business, revenue and customer growth by ensuring we build and maintain the best solution in our chosen markets. Reporting directly to our CEO, you'll be expected to contribute highly at both a strategic and operational level.
You will be responsible for developing and leading a high performing team of Product Development Managers, and bring a deep and current understanding of technology growth strategies, so that you can ensure that the product strategy directly supports the business strategy.
A commercial thinker: you'll influence and communicate effectively to prioritise development projects that yield the most commercial returns for the business. You'll also have strong problem-solving skills, be a brave and curious thinker, with the drive to make things happen.
If you are ambitious in making a difference, then we would love to hear from you. If you're excited to learn more, please contact our recruitment partner Badenoch + Clark to have a confidential conversation.
Applications in the form of a tailored CV and covering letter, highlighting your skills and experience pertinent to the role, should arrive no later than midnight Sunday 27 June 2021.
