Job Details

The Community Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service is looking for a Clinical Support Worker to join the North West Team based at the West Centre in Drumchapel. The successful candidate will support the speech and language therapy team to provide a service to individuals or groups of clients with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs and/or eating and drinking difficulties. The main duties include carrying out therapy programmes under the supervision of Speech & Language Therapists and liaison with clients, carers and others. The post holder will have a delegated responsibility for independently managing the therapy sessions. He/she will develop, implement, evaluate and monitor therapy tasks and activities to meet the therapy aims agreed with the speech and language therapist. The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday.
This is a Fixed term post for 12 months
