Job Details

You will provide a service to North East Mental Health Services In-patient wards, which are currently based within Stobhill Hospital. It is essential you are a NMC registered Mental Nurse. You should have knowledge and experience of working with patients with Mental Health conditions. The hours of this post are worked on a continental or 4/7 pattern including weekends and night duty.

The post-holder as a statutory registered employee directly contributes to safe, efficient service delivery and is required to work across the mental health inpatient service (i.e. hospital site) providing nursing care which meets the needs of the service. This post will provide nursing care within the specialist services remit:

• Armadale ward provides care and treatment to people requiring acute mental health care. In addition the ward provides specialist care to our adult eating disorder patients. Candidates should have a keen interest in working within this specialist service and for developing specialist skills in this area. The successful candidates will be provided with on-going training and development. The shift pattern for this post is continental shift pattern or 4 days over 7.
