Kaimes is a non-denominational special school providing education for primary and secondary age learners with complex long-term additional support needs where the presumption of mainstream cannot be met.
Needs of learners are primarily associated with sensory, social and pragmatic communication needs associated with Autistic Spectrum Condition.
The school is situated in the South of Edinburgh.
The school is an all through school for primary and secondary pupils. To this end, Pupil Support Assistants are likely to experience working with both primary and secondary learners. The school runs over 2 buildings and learners can access both of these for a range of curricular experiences and opportunities. The school works closely with families and wider partners and enjoys strong community links with approximately 100 learners.
We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic staff to join the team. Inclusion is at the heart of our core values and we strive to be the best we can be. For more information about the school, please visit our website: www.kaimesschool.com
