An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Senior Addiction Nurse within the North West Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service with a special interest in Blood Borne Virus. Glasgow Alcohol & Drug Recovery Service is committed to providing high quality care within an integrated team. You would be working as part of a large team dealing with clients with drug and alcohol problems and complex associated physical and mental health problems. Within this role you would work in conjunction with Specialist Liver Nurses to provide support and treatment for Blood Borne Viruses to individual patients within the community. The post holder should have good communication skills and will also assume a supervisory role with junior members of staff. It is essential that you are currently a Register Mental Health Nurse or Registered Adult Nurse with relevant post registration experience working within an addiction setting at a Band 5 Level.
The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.
