Following the recent transformation of our Sales & Marketing department, LV= GI are currently seeking an experienced UX Manager to join our multi- site based Team. It's an exciting opportunity where you'll lead the UX team across projects and BAU. You'll be strongly involved in building our UX capability to shape our digital transformation and forge solid relationships with our key internal and external stakeholders and represent the team to our customers.
So who are we looking for? You will be a natural leader with solid coaching and mentoring skills and will lead the wider digital team and drive and build the change required to deliver exceptional user experiences for our customers. Together with strong people management experience, you will also have previous exposure to managing budgets.
When it comes to the technical skills, ideally, you will have previous background in UX design (Morae, InVision, Sketch) and strong eye for detail so that you can support the team when necessary. This combined with understanding of a range of user research methods and experience in producing clear research plans makes up the toolkit that we'd like you to be equipped in!
In addition, you will have an analytical thinking process, easily recognising key assumptions and seeking ways to quickly confirm or invalidate them. As this is a hands- on role, strong oral and written communication skills are a must as you will be presenting findings concisely and effectively to clients and business stakeholders.
Other desirable skills are:
Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional qualifications
Strong experience in UX research and testing.
Operate as a member of the Digital Customer Experience Management team across UX, design and content. To be responsible for the management and delivery of a programme of projects and initiatives that maintains and enhances LV GIG digital capabilities. To be responsible for the planning and execution of a regular programme of Usability research working with the Digital Analytics team, in order to identify ways of enhancing the online transactional capability of LV group websites in order to ensure that both the BAU and strategic digital plans are delivered. To be responsible for the maintenance of effective relationships with internal customers and external agencies/ suppliers in order to ensure that BAU and strategic digital plans are delivered Responsible for the creation and delivery of the LVGIG UX strategy, working with Analytics and research teams to ensure usability and CX are aligned in the delivery of the strategy. To be responsible for understanding the impacts of Group, Regulatory and Supplier (particularly Aggregator) originated changes on LVGIG online processes and for ensuring that appropriate solutions are defined, implemented and communicated to key stakeholders Lead and deliver all research initiatives that deliver appropriate digital solutions and trading enhancements within tight time restraints. Responsible for the development, management, compliance, testing and enhancement of key user journeys. Responsible for producing and presenting research plans and insights/results of testing, including tangible recommendations for the team to deliver. Build effective working relationships with external and internal stakeholders (Visual Designers, UX Architects, Product Owners, and Digital Analysts etc.) so that user testing requirements are fully captured assessed and delivered. Facilitate regular face-to-face and remote user testing with users and incorporating user research into an agile workflow. Be a driver of the UCD process and shape the direction of the website's user experience Maintain a strong understanding of new technologies, competitor changes and testing practices to deliver results and recommendations that compliment user centres design best practices Produce and maintain a user research toolkit to maintain consistency and efficiency across UX activities To take responsibility for managing, coaching and developing team members to ensure that objectives are met PDP and succession plans are in place and the team score in line with targets on Enagage.
