Neil Armstrong was the first person to walk on the moon, you could be this organisation's first DevOps Architect.
I have no idea where I'm going with that analogy, but both roles are pretty darn important.
It's fresh. It's brand new. It's a challenge. It's rewarding.
We're looking for a DevOps Architect to work across various platform engineering teams and really make your mark. From best practices through to ownership of technology decisions, you'll have a hand in shaping the future of the platform.
You'll be the first DevOps Architect this organisation has employed, but you'll receive the backing of all your senior colleagues from day one.
The scale is huge and there isn't much room for downtime, if any. Hence, we're looking for a visionary and someone who can really champion automation. I won't under sell the challenge but the rewards are there to be had. The tech stack is so broad, that this isn't the focus here.
The focus is on you, as a person and as a leader. If you can get the engineering teams to really buy into your designs and decisions, this is the role for you. You'll have real knowledge of the technology you're implementing, credibility is important right?
In return, we can promise growth and reward. I'll work to secure you the best possible financial package alongside a hefty bonus. You'll pick up a split between remote working and office based collaboration. There is room for progression here, if you're keen on moving your career forward this really is the right opportunity.
