Quality Engineering Manager | Data Centric Approach | Digital First | Shift Left Test Environment | CIRCA £90,000 - £100,000

Our client is bold, ambitious and at the forefront of their industry and due to a recent period of growth are recruiting for a passionate Quality Engineering Manager to join their technology community.

Our client has a quality engineering function that is made of creative thinkers who strive for best practice and innovation at all times and who thrive in an environment that understand both engineering and quality and so if you're a strong, passionate technologist determined to work with your team to deliver exceptional results, this could be an opportunity for you.

Duties of the role will include:
  • Get 'hands on' and interact with the code base as and when required
  • Proactively define and align test strategies, plans and pipelines
  • Having quality and engineering at the core of your work whilst coaching and mentoring engineers to the same high standards that you have
  • Support and encourage solid engineering practices - Pair Programming, Shift Left Test Approach, 3 Amigos, BDD and TDD

Alongside tonnes of self-motivation, you should be able to demonstrate:
  • Very recent experience with managing, coaching and delivering results from a quality engineering team
  • A thorough understanding of the SDLC and STLC
  • An evidence based approach when it comes to delivering against business objectives - documentation, visibility and metrics
  • The ability to think analytically at all times whilst also providing creative solutions to challenges
