However, the transition from gas to electric cars will change a great deal of what we know about transportation. We're going to need EV charging infrastructure that is accessible, reliable, and future-proof.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for a Validation Engineer to join our existing team of 5 validation engineers in our Technology department located in HQ, Amsterdam. You are always the first that is working hands-on with the latest product iteration, challenging its capability and resilience against your envisioned tests.

Role and responsibilities:
  • (Co)develop Design Validation plans for NPI (New Product Introduction) products
  • Design test equipment architecture to control and monitor the DUT (Device Under Test) during validation
  • Design software architecture to control and monitor the DUT during validation
  • Implement data analysis tools to analyze data retrieved during validation
  • Report findings based on data gathered and analyze during validation
  • Create, maintain, process validation data logs and attend meeting with external partners
    Job requirements
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field required
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in product validation, design validation in electronics products (preferably in automotive environment)
    • Thorough understanding of embedded system and the interaction between mechanical parts, electronics and software
    • Solid understanding of statistics and data analysis
      Nice-to-haves
      • Ability to multitask and facilitate effective problem solving and resolution (root cause analysis such as 8D)
      • Knowledge of APQP and/ or DFSS
      • Working knowledge of quality audit techniques based in IATF TS 16949
      • Experience with EVs (Electrical Vehicles) or EVSE (EV Supply Equipment)is a plus
      • Experience in a firmware development environment is a plus
