Senior Visual/Graphic Designer
Duration -6 months with scope for extension
Location: London (central) - Currently working from home full time however will need to be able to work within the office 2-3 days per week post-covid if and when needed.

Where does this role sit?
This role sits within CBBT (Commercial and Business Banking Transformation) and will be responsible for the visual articulation of the future client experience within the Origination Value Stream. Specifically, the role will focus on the design of the Insight as a Service capability and providing commercial customers with visually communicated insights into their businesses.
What is visual design to us?
Adds beauty, clarity and creative consideration to the products, elevating the customer experience from functional to memorable. It goes beyond usability by addressing both form and function.
Visual design is the first impression consumers will have of your product-it is actually arguably the most important impression it'll make. Users will decide whether to trust the credibility of a site based more upon its visual cues than its actual content. Additionally, visual design is one of the strongest ties a designer can use for effectual branding.
What will you focus on within the role?
As Senior Visual Designer you will be responsible for designing customer and colleague facing responsive web products. You will work with the wider team to define the visual treatments, aligning with brand requirements, best practises and accessibility and vulnerability guidance.
You will deliver pixel perfect solutions for responsive websites, working closely with product owner, UX designers, copywriters and developers.
What do we need to see from applicants?
We like people who come from diverse industry backgrounds however as a minimum to be seriously considered you will need to demonstrate experience of;
· Prior background as a senior visual/graphic designer, specifically within digital design for user journeys within large organisations.
· Experience with data visualisation and creativity in representing various data sets in a visual way
· You will be fully proficient in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator and InVision.
· You'll be accustomed to working for corporate clients, not necessarily in finance, adhering to style guides and brand requirements.
· You'll be comfortable working within an Agile working environment.
· You'll have a strong grounding in User Experience (UX) Design
· Ideally you'll have experience of user research.
