The opportunity
A great opportunity has arisen to work on the new UK & Ireland EY Intranet team. The successful candidate will work with key stakeholders across the business to ensure all content is current and relevant on our new Intranet platform. You will also work across some of our other internal digital platforms, including GLMS, SharePoint and Discover, which all feed into the hub that is our Intranet.

Qualifications:
Your key responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to help produce both current and relevant content for our Intranet platform
  • Become one of our regional experts on our Intranet platform
  • Upload daily news stories, create new areas of the site, using wireframes and information architect documents.
  • Work with the Intranet Manager to port over existing SharePoint sites to the Unily platform, to improve its usability, appeal and functionality (in conjunction with any technical editors)
  • Provide credible advice on page design options to meet key objectives
  • In conjunction with any technical editors, develop analytics which enable measurement of appropriate KPIs e.g. click through rate
  • Gain an understanding of our GLMS (global list management system), which is the targeting system used on our Intranet

Skills and attributes for success
  • Experience of how an Intranet site works, is maintained and how users can best navigate them
  • You will have good technical know-how and experience in writing and implementing internal digital communications
  • An understanding of information architecture / wireframes diagrams
  • Project management skills
  • An understanding of audiences across the EY UKI Geo (UK, FS, Ireland) is helpful
  • Enthusiasm to create innovative solutions and look for new ways of engaging the business

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • An ability/aptitude to work with intranet/ SharePoint systems in EY

Ideally, you'll also have
  • Basic code writing experience
  • Experience of managing intranet/ SharePoint pages
