Our client is a family owned business, who have gone from strength to strength over the last 10 years.... You will be working for a hugely ambitious company, where every single employee matters and you are not just a number. We need a strong Purchase Customer/Supplier Co-ordinator to join our team of professionals.. You will be responsible for managing the order process from start to finishing using a bespoke in - house system. You will have the ability to take ownership and manage your workload effectively.

The job role will include:
* Spending more time liaising with suppliers than customers
* Managing the customer and supplier experience
* Answering queries and providing proactive solutions to problems
* Prioritising your time to meet deadlines and customer expectations
* Answering calls regarding product availability and delivery scheduling
* Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers
* Proactively negotiating to get the best prices and delivery times
* Cross referencing orders ensuring all details are correct
* Managing your supplier database
* Checking costing on orders
* Scheduling deliveries
* Working towards strict SLA's and guidelines

You will have:
* Strong communication skills internally and externally
* Experience of working in a either a scheduling role, purchasing/supply chain experience, supplier management or complex customer service
* The ability to solve problems proactively and effectively
* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office programs including excel
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* The ability to work in a fast paced environment and work towards strict deadlines
* Excellent time management and organisation skills
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills - there will be lots of calculations/figures involved within the role
