Job Description

The company's London-based execution team is primarily responsible for evaluating and executing investments in renewable assets in the UK and Continental Europe. Analysts support the team in reviewing and assessing new investment opportunities as well as in execution of investments. This includes conducting research and due diligence, building and maintaining financial models and the preparation of materials to present to company's Investment Committee prior to any deal completion. The Analyst will also be involved in the review and analysis of information provided by third party technical advisors, as well as interacting with other functions from across the company, such as the portfolio management team.

The ideal candidate would be highly motivated and have a genuine interest for renewables investments.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Support the execution team through due diligence and execution of investments, working in conjunction with the portfolio management team
  • Comprehensive review and day to day management of data rooms
  • Updating and managing financial models
  • Conduct research and analyses on sector related topics
  • Assist in management of investment processes
  • Prepare investment opportunity presentations for review by the company's investment committee

Job Requirements
  • Ideally up to 2 years of experience (minimum 1 year) within consultancy, advisory, investment banking, project finance or an equity investment background
  • Experience in financial modelling and Renewables M&A preferable
  • Ability and enthusiasm to collect and synthesize large amounts of information
  • Strong analytical rigor, reliable, accurate and with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Team player comfortable working in a demanding, fast paced environment
  • Drive, enthusiasm and strong work ethic
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
