Are you an experienced Finance Assistant who has experience of running end to end payroll?
Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working closely with an established client within Newcastle upon Tyne who are looking to recruit a part time Finance Assistant on a 9-12 month fixed term contract.
They are seeking an experienced professional who has good all round knowledge of accounts payable , receivable and who also has working experience running end to end payroll. Experience working on SAGE Payroll is essential.
Working over 3 days a week, you will be working closely with the Finance Manager in helping to run the accounts department. Please note: they require someone to work full time on the payroll week and then these extra days will be compensated for.
Job duties include:
- Running the staff payroll and ensuring all staff are paid on time and accurately.
- Processing HMRC, RTI, Pensions
- Calculating all statutory payments according to requirements
- Processing purchase ledger and sales invoices including receipts
- Bank reconciliations
- Petty Cash transactions
- Journal Entries
