Are you an experienced Scrum Master who has experience as an Agile Project Lead? Do you want to work in an agile and innovative environment? Our client is currently looking for a Scrum Master to join their team in the UK.

A market leader, our client is focused on implementing innovative optical technologies into their range of high-value and high-tech capital equipment systems. They are a world-renowned German manufacturer with a reputation for delivering gold-standard technologies.

The role

As Scrum Master you'll guide the software development team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and work with them on agile methods.

Responsibilities include:
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating with scrum masters on agile transition
  • Overseeing software development projects
  • Outlining, structuring, forecasting, and scheduling product releases based on data
  • Delivering projects to timescales and budgets
  • Undertaking risk analysis
  • Coordinating and aligning with management and other stakeholders

The requirements

You will be a certified Scrum Master. Other requirements include:
  • MSc in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or an equivalent
  • At least 1-2 years' experience as an Agile Project Lead
  • Strong track record of working on a code base that is shared with multiple teams
  • Able to build rapport with a whole team
  • Previous experience supporting team development and facilitating delivery
  • Experience with complex hardware-software combined products desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
