The Technical Support Manager role:
The role would encompass searching for new business through projects, contractors, and systems providers, to be driven back through distribution, whilst maintaining a level of second line support to work with and assist the existing sales team and customer base.
Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
+ Searching out new business opportunities through projects, contractors and systems providers.
+ Developing sales in GPAT industries.
+ Site testing for both general fixings and additional EWI support.
+ Promoting technical support package to end users/contractors /systems providers.
+ Customer training and on-site toolbox talks.
+ Engage with PCP customers to offer rapid technical support.
+ Supporting other team members in a second line technical capacity.
What we are looking for:
+ You should be experienced either in fixings or working in the industry promoting products to end users.
+ Ability and commitment to delivering excellent service to customers and contractors.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Excellent attention to detail, problem solving abilities and ownership.
+ Ability to extract all information and to identify problems.
+ Ability to prioritise own workload whilst also assisting the Technical team.
+ Ability to work under pressure showing flexibility when required.
