Successful and growing SaaS company is looking for an experienced backend Technical Lead.

Role Info:

Technical Lead / Engineer / Developer- SaaS
Location: Part Remote / Sevenoaks
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + Benefits.

As Technical Lead you will bring your in-depth knowledge of managing cross functional teams as well as provide technical leadership to backend development team, taking full ownership of planning, reviews and development of the existing products.

+ Do you have experience with Microservices / AWS / Kubernetes / Typescript / Laravel / Devops?
+ Do you have 3+ years experience as a Technical Lead?
+ Do you have experience of full development life cycle?
+ Are you comfortable with spending 30% of your time on Management and 70% Hands on?
+ Do you have excellent prioritisation, problem solving and communication skills?
+ Can you distil problems to the root cause?

Your Responsibilities:

+ Microservices / AWS / Kubernetes / Typescript / Laravel / Devops / Engineer / Developer / Technical lead
+ Working closely with CTO and stakeholders
+ Planning
+ Managing / working with the development team (Web + Android + iOS)
+ Code reviews
+ Architecture
+ Working with infrastructure
+ Working with continuous integration

Technologies used:

+ Kubernetes (EKS), Linkerd, Docker,
+ Terraform, CloudFormation, Gitlab CI
+ Typescript, Lambda, Laravel/Kohana
+ PostgreSQL/MySQL (RDS), DynamoDB, Mongo,
+ Redis, SNS/SQS, GraphQL/REST
+ Nuxt.js, Webpack, ESLint, Vanilla js
+ Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin/Java

Job Requirements:

+ 3+ years of experience as a technical lead
+ Experience with B2B products on web and mobile app in a SaaS
+ Experience of full development life cycle
+ Logical / Physical Data modelling
+ In-depth knowledge of diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles
+ In-depth understanding of concepts of microservice architecture, API and event-driven architecture and serverless
+ Hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions that leverage native and vendor cloud services on AWS platform
+ Hands-on designing solutions that use complex service orchestration that leverages container management and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
+ Excellent written and spoken English, communication, and leadership skills

Location and Access:

+ Currently we are working remotely, but will be based in Sevenoaks at least 3 days a week as soon as it is safe to do so.
