Teaching Personnel, the market leading education recruitment company, are looking to appoint a Candidate Consultant to work in their Thames Valley North branch located in Bracknell. The role is full time and permanent and starts immediately.

About the role

Previous experience is not essential. If you have a firm interest in Education, and want to forge a career in recruitment, then this entry level opportunity is for you! Working as a Candidate Consultant will give you direct experience working with candidates and an understanding of how to secure suitable placements and work. You will support an experienced team of recruiters and have the opportunity for career development and progression.

The Thames Valley North branch support SEN schools across Thames Valley and the surrounding areas. They provide teachers, cover supervisors, teaching assistants and tutors to support a wide variety of needs that the schools have. It is a well-established branch with experienced consultants that are ready to take the branch to the next level. The Candidate Consultant is vital in supporting the growth and success of the branch by assisting in recruiting quality candidates.

Due to the current government restrictions, we are working from home full time (full IT equipment provided to support effective home working). When our offices reopen, we will return to a part time work/home based working pattern usually consisting of 2-3 days per week in the office.

The role of Candidate Consultant will involve the following daily duties.
  • Contacting Teachers and Teaching Assistants to start the registration process
  • Communicating with the branches and consultants regarding all vetting aspects
  • Advertising both permanent and temporary positions on behalf of our client schools
