SEMH Teaching Assistant - Norwich
Do you have experience working as a Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor with young people who are not able to attend mainstream school and have a background of behavioural challenges?
I am actively seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant for a SEN School based outside Norwich.
Even if your experience is informal/voluntary, I want to hear from you! The children you will support will have a variety of needs which can include significant complex behaviour challenges and sometimes associated SEND.
We are looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work with learners. 6 - 19 who have Emotional, Social and/or moderate Learning Disabilities associated with Special Educational Needs (SEN). SEMH Teaching Assistant requirements:
- Experience of working with young people with SEND and/or Autism, ADHD
- Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor / Youth Worker experience
- A passion for working with SEND is essential
