Junior Legal Secretary - 12-month Contract - £32,000
Our client is and award-winning, growing mid-sized law firm with a fantastic atmosphere and team feel. Due to new lawyers joining and an increase in work, they are looking for a new legal secretary to join their team in a busy, role supporting partners and associates.
When the office reopens, they are expecting (after the first few weeks to get you settled in) this role to be a mixture of working from home and working in the office with about a 50/50 split.
The work is an exciting niche area that is an unusual combination of commercial property and commercial litigation, so what they are looking for is a legal secretary with at least 12 months' experience in a law firm who is confident with both conveyancing forms, and with litigation (Court bundles, producing litigation documents etc.).
The work is a mixture of property litigation cases on behalf of large and small commercial clients, so they need a legal secretary with excellent skills who understands litigation so can be left to deal with Court bundles and typing up of litigation forms and documentation with minimal supervision - but who also understand a bit about conveyancing.
Although they will need some support with travel and diary management the role is definitely more secretarial than PA so would be brilliant for an enthusiastic legal secretary looking a busy, varied role in a great team.
The role will initially be on a 12-month fixed term contract, but this could get extended or go permanent for the right person.
The role is newly created so they ideally want someone to start ASAP. For more information or to be considered please contact John Bruce.
