Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer, you will set the strategy and direction of the finance function globally. Key responsibilities will include:-Leading financial strategy, planning, financial stewardship and control, and enhancing organisation-wide business improvement.-Providing a wide range of strategic business support, financial analysis and information to the Board and its sub-committees, the executive team and wider management.-Managing and developing the Finance Division and its staff, driving forwards improvements to our systems and practices to deliver a first-class financial service to stakeholders-Acting as a key member of Christian Aid's senior leadership team to participate in the development of Christian Aid's vision, mission and strategic directionAbout youThe successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a track record of achievement at a senior level in a complex, international, organisation.
