Job Title: E-Trading Development Manager

Salary: £25k

Hours: Permanent - 37.5 hours per week, flexible working 5 days out of 7

Location: Sheffield, on-site working

We are working in partnership with a well-established Hospice, who deliver the best possible palliative care, whilst developing and driving continual improvements for everyone affected by terminal illness. They are a charity, and all of their services are free. The charity is now seeking to appoint an E-Trading Development Manager, to drive the growth and development of their online E-Trading business.

Working closely with the Retail Area Manager, they will be responsible for delivering the organisation's retail strategy, increasing online sales and hitting budgeted growth expectations. The postholder will oversee all E-Trading channels, and be responsible for maximising sales and establishing, launching and managing the expansion of a range of new online shops/ventures, as well as researching and compiling a portfolio of channels, that appeal to a broad base of customers. The postholder will also be responsible for the line management of two staff and 20+ volunteers and will need to coach and motivate the E-Trading team, as well as ensuring sufficient volunteer cover through effective management of team resources.

The successful individual will demonstrate the following:

Experience in growing and maximising sales through existing E-Trading channels including Ebay and Amazon
Managing the expansion of new online shops and ventures to maximise and develop income streams
Experience managing staff and working with volunteers, with knowledge and experience of recruitment, training and coaching
Experience of monitoring, analysing and reporting on activities and developing new promotional techniques
Strong digital photography skills
Experience of creating online visual displays, as well as writing compelling copy

We are seeking a proactive, and creative individual with excellent attention to detail and strong customer service skills. Good administrative and organisational skills, as well as experience of planning and co-ordinating is essential.
