You will lead our London-based Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services, including any we may deliver in future. Current services include:
1. Sexual Health Office
Oversee our Sexual Health Office, which provides administrative support and sexual health results management for a number of London boroughs, as well as a daily helpline and a youth-only support line. To support delivery there is a team of experienced administrators who you will manage.
2. National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP) and free condom schemes for young people
Support engagement and reach targets for the NCSP and the C Card programmes which we deliver across a number of London boroughs, managing a small team of lead and frontline workers.
3. Young-people focused outreach and 1:1 programmes
Oversee the Young Greenwich sexual health team, supporting a range of outreach, youth hub engagement, 1:1 support, and training throughout the borough. You will ensure that you work closely with other managers at METRO who are delivering Young Greenwich work, as well as with our Young Greenwich partners at Oxleas NHS Foundatain Trust and Charlton Athletic Community Trust.
You will collaborate with key partners and commissioners externally, building on good existing relationships and forging new ones. You will work closely with our Clinical Projects Manager to ensure cohesiveness between sexual health services and our Head of Sexual and Reproductive Health to ensure the integration of sexual health projects into the broader functioning of the charity. You will work with the charity's external affairs team on the appropriate promotion and celebration of our services. You will also work with the charity's training manager to develop comprehensive and quality assured SRH training and our database and web developers to ensure accurate results monitoring and programme evaluation can continue apace.
