We are seeking a BAME Housing & Support Coordinator to have overall responsibility across the BAME floating support teams. You will be responsible for delivering an excellent, culturally appropriate support and housing related service to tenants and clients in the BAME specific projects.
*Lead in the delivery of our BAME specific Floating Support and Housing
*Support the delivery of culturally sensitive support services that meets
*the needs of clients.
*Provide cultural insight and expertise across all services so clients
*receive the service they deserve.
*Use your initiative to plan and develop services so they meet future
*Seek opportunities to increase the size, scope and number of projects

*Ensure contractual obligations are met across all service areas.

Essential Skills, Education, Experience & Qualifications
*Experience of delivering support work to BAME clients.
*Ability to speak a community relevant language fluently.
*Knowledge and understanding of specific cultural requirements of
*clients and tenants supported by the projects.
*Experience of leading staff
*Understanding of welfare benefits
*Knowledge of safeguarding issues
*Ability to support and enable colleagues to succeed by offering trust
*Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm presence.
*Excellent negotiation skills
*Proficient in the use of IT packages and an ability to seek out ne w
*and emerging IT solutions.
*Use of data to demonstrate outcomes.
*Ability to research, prepare and present clear, concise reports to varied audiences.
*Ability to communicate with empathy and respect at all times.
*A collaborative, co productive and inclusive approach to service delivery.
