Junior Business Analyst - 2-year fixed term contract. Hybrid working available, home/remote and office locations are based throughout central Scotland and beyond.
What you will be working on:
The Business Analyst plays a key role in acting as the conduit between the business and technical teams and this is a key role in the Project Delivery Team working with the organisation to investigate, analyse, review, define and document business requirements, functions and processes identifying available options and recommending high-level solutions The Business Analyst role, one of two within the team, will be required to split time over some major delivery projects. This will involve working with core stakeholders from across the business, along with a well-established full stack team to focus on the launch and evolution of the organisations' corporate and Marketing Automation single customer view.

Their focus is to ensure all visitors experience the very best that Scotland has to offer. This is a large digital team responsible for managing a wide and varied digital delivery programme. The objectives of the team are to deliver an ongoing rolling transformational programme of work for the business.
What you will need:
You will have experience of User Acceptance Testing and supporting business resources to conduct testing and be a highly organised individual with previous experience of working as a Business Analyst in Agile focused Digital projects and have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with all project team members to deliver the overall project objectives along with working with multiple stakeholders to understand current business processes with a view to eliciting requirements that meet the needs of the business. You'll be a great communicator and can translate the business requirements to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Previous experience across the following would also be an advantage for this role:
- Experience of Agile project methodologies and project management used throughout the project lifecycle
- Previous experience / knowledge of digital platform delivery
- Production of training materials and running training workshops to support the business through to system deployment
- Confidence in creating detailed process maps Understanding of the project lifecycle and managing your time to meet project objectives and timelines
- Experience of JIRA and Confluence to manage project tasks assigned to you and others within the team
- Experience of working in single customer view marketing projects
- Experience of aligning multiple data processes across an organisation
