Reed Accountancy are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller, to join an industry leader based in the City Centre of Glasgow. This is a permanent role with competitive salary and benefits package on offer, with attractive City Centre location.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a busy Credit Control department, managing high volume ledgers to minimise and reduce aged debt. You will be a confident communicator, able to effectively build relationships with external customers as well as internal stakeholders, which will allow you to better manage any invoice / payment queries. You will have the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload, working to targets and KPI's ensuring these are met accordingly. You must also have excellent attention to detail as accuracy is extremely important in this role.
- Pursuing arrears through telephone, letter and email contact
- Arranging repayment and negotiating repayment plans
- Reporting on aged debt
- Allocating payments to accounts
- Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing queries to resolution
The role will be temporarily home based as per government guidelines, with a return to the office when it is deemed safe to do so.
