Job Details

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual for the role of Assistant Biology Technician to join a strong, very supportive and friendly department in an exceptional school from 1st September 2021. For the right candidate, there is a potential opportunity for career progression to the role of Technician from September 2022.

The role is 37 hours per week term time only (plus 3 days in the school holidays), working 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 3.30pm Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

The salary is £19,515 - £21,517 FTE depending on experience (actual salary £15,444 - £17,029), and other benefits include enrolment into a Defined Contribution pension scheme, 60% discount on school fees at King Edward's School and King Edward VI High School for Girls, free lunches in term time and use of the onsite gym and swimming pool.
