Job Details

Ward 4 are looking for nurses to join a dedicated and friendly team committed to delivering safe, high quality, patient centred care. A multi disciplinary approach to Medicine is our key to success and we take great pride in delivering holistic care to our patients and their families.

Ward 4 is a dynamic environment and specialises in Adult Medicine which encompasses a variety of patient groups including diabetes, endocrinology and vascular medicine. We also care for those patients who experience problems with addiction and associated mental health illness.

The post-holder will work with a range of services and healthcare professionals across the interface of acute and primary care. This provides the opportunity to develop new knowledge and skills, enhance existing skills and gain experience in a variety of fields of practice.

You should be committed to providing high standards of care in an acute setting, whilst also having the ability to effectively prioritise care. You should be able to work well as part of a large and diverse multidisciplinary team. The post provides the opportunity to influence and develop practice within an adult medical environment.

Successful post-holders will have access to a range of CPD activities linked to Acute Medicine, including opportunities to undertake Masters level study and develop enhanced skills. You should therefore be able to demonstrate your commitment to professional development and provide evidence of ongoing learning.
