Job Details

We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with our client, a dynamic, forward thinking and expanding provider of outsourced services based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit a Head of Digital Infrastructure to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

We are looking to speak to candidates with solid knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks, knowledge of contact centre technology such as dialler systems, multiple contact channels (chat, socials, email, phone) and with experience of hosted and on-premise solutions. This role will line manage up to 5 members of the team, candidates therefore must have proven Management experience.

You will

  • Manage the performance of all systems to ensure services are delivered within SLAs
  • Lead, coach and motivate a small team
  • Setting KPI's and reporting on these to senior management
  • Manage annual IT budget ensuring value for money
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners
  • Support the BD function, creating technical solutions for new and existing clients
  • Supporting with tender submissions
  • Planning and delivering the technology roadmap, identifying areas of weakness and spotting future trends, creating plans to resolve/update
  • Support the business through various Information Security projects ensuring full compliance
  • Communicate to senior leaders who may not be technical, in an easy-to-understand manner


You'll need

  • Solid experience in a similar role, ideally degree qualified
  • Experience of managing IT Infrastructure, support, planning, maintenance and development
  • Knowledge of contact centre technology such as dialler systems, multiple contact channels and other software solutions
  • Knowledge and understanding of managing hosted and on-premise solutions
  • Experience in converting requirements into solutions
  • Working knowledge of back-up technologies
  • Knowledge and experience of cyber security principals
  • Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong MS Excel and Work skills
  • The ability to work with teams across the business
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Accountable and willing to provide solutions to problems
  • The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills


Benefits

Our client offers a fantastic starting salary up to £70,000 plus excellent benefits.
