Post Title: Empty Homes/Private Rented Sector Liaison Officer
Location Inverness
Hours: 35 Hours per week
Duration: Fixed term - 2 Years
Salary: £32,323 - £35,380 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To develop a proactive approach to 'Empty Homes' in Highland, preventing them from becoming empty for lengthy periods of time and to develop polices and procedures to bring 'Empty Homes' back into effective residential use

Engage with the Private Rented Sector (PRS), landlords and lettings agencies to negotiate and develop a positive working relationship between the sector and the Council

  • Knowledge of current Housing issues and challenges facing Homelessness service delivery
  • Qualified to degree level or able to demonstrate other relevant experience
