Hours 25-37.5 per week by agreement

Location Home/Hitchin/Community

Salary £26-30,000 pro depending on experience and track record

Are you an experienced grants and partnerships manager with a great track record of income generation and covering the range of grants, statutory and corporate?

This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop an exciting and ambitious charity whose projects are attractive. Highly fundable and relevant giving fundraisers a huge opportunity for leverage

To support the Chief Executive (who will also function as overall Fundraising and Marketing Director) in ensuring the Charity's further development and ambitious growth in ways that are relevant and in line with our Charitable Objectives and Business Planning.

Key Responsibilities:

To develop and deliver the grants, statutory and partnerships funding strategy, working closely with the CEO on Grants and Statutory income streams and key corporate partnerships, managing the agreed strategy through your team.
To lead and develop the grants team and their performance, and to optimise grant/statutory/partnership income across the footprint of an expanding charity.
To work with the CEO to agree statutory and corporate partnership opportunities and so as to develop increasing participation, engagement and income for the charity year on year.
To help develop regular partnership donations to the charity, both statutory and corporate as well as grant making bodies.
To support and help further develop marketing for the charity, including developing media relationships and opportunities.
To research and explore options for development, working especially with the CEO

Required Skills

An excellent track record across grant, statutory and corporate funding streams.
You can lead a team of fundraisers across those income streams really well and provide guidance and example
Great office and administrative skills and are self-motivated and capable
Able to communicate well using a variety of methods, including electronically, by telephone, verbally and in writing. Articulate, persuasive, personable.
Well organised and an excellent planner and co-ordinator.
A good and effective team leader who brings the best out of people.
Empathy/Awareness and understanding of the needs, issues, and concerns of young people including those with disadvantage, challenges and special needs.
