IPS Finance is working with a leading business in Knaresborough who are looking for an Accounts Technician to join their Payments team. They pride themselves on their long-term relationships with clients, redefining the approach to business support using technology to offer a high level of service for broking clients.

The Role

The primary objective of this role is to provide the highest quality accounting support to key stakeholders and external customers.
  • Manage insurer payment and client money inbox
  • Issue payments
  • Resolve queries from insurer payments, reconciliations or cashbook reconciliations
  • Monitor breaches of FCA CASS rules
  • Look at ways to improve/automate current working practices
  • Maintain BACS details in Bankline and other systems


To be considered you will have existing accounting experience or a graduate who is looking to develop a career within finance.

For those with experience, any experience gained within an FCA/CASS regulated environment would be at an advantage.
