About the role
We need our financial management systems and processes to be as effective and efficient as possible, so this role will take the lead in identifying and delivering improvements to our financial management systems, processes and procedures.
An important and vital part of this role is working with our employees to demystify and simplify finance to support them in becoming more confident in delivering the financial management part of their roles.
You will be a qualified accountant or finalist (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who has or is currently working in a similar role. You have a sound knowledge of financial accounting systems, MS Excel and general ledger systems (e.g., SUN or equivalent) and a good understanding of accounting systems development and change.
A highly organised individual with experience managing finance-related projects, you are proactive with a can-do attitude. Moreover, you are inspired and motivated by problem solving.
Your ability to build relationships, collaborate and communicate confidently means you will thrive in this role.
