Global Philanthropy Coordinator
Location: Manchester when required, however the successful candidate can work from home when not required to attend the office
Starting salary for this position is £31,776 per annum (plus contributory pension)
Working as part of our Fundraising and Philanthropy Team and reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this exciting new role will support the development of a robust pipeline of new supporters to maximise organisational impact whilst stewarding existing donors so that they continue to engage with, be inspired by and support MAG.
You will ensure that all donors have a brilliant experience supporting the organisation and will be contributing to a team that aims to secure multi-year, £multi-million philanthropic pledges from individual major donors, trusts and foundations and corporate supporters.
We're looking for a confident, flexible and ambitious individual who is articulate, persuasive and tenacious with an exceptional ability to forge relationships with donors, deliver pitches, organise events and liaise with a wide range of key stakeholders. You will have experience of carrying out research and have a strong ability to meet deadlines, develop and monitor annual plans and budgets, and produce effective correspondence for a range of audiences.
It is an exciting and crucial time in the charity's development and you will be part of a small team representing MAG to achieve agreed objectives, inspiring confidence in stakeholders and decision makers. You will be solution-focused, proactive and self-sufficient and be willing to work flexible hours.
In order to set us up for long term success we are open to considering flexible/alternative terms of engagement, as well as a full time employed role. The main criteria is that the candidate is able to demonstrate the skills, experience and a thorough strategy to achieve the desired outcomes expected of this role, within the set remuneration budget and timescales.
