Support WorkerOur client is seeking a creative-thinking Support Worker for 37 hours per week to lead their range of sessions in their Herne Bay Day Resource Service which include life skills, cooking, sports, up-cycling, music, drama, leisure and social activities. They want you to support and enable their clients using your experience and skills and, most of all, your passion.They offer a full induction and training programme,?salary progression, a generous holiday allowance, increasing with length of service, and sickness allowance as well as a?pension scheme.Their Service Users tell them that when they hold a cooking club, they are the chefs, and when they go to football club, they are footballers! Do you have any ideas of other things they could be?Support Worker Requirements:Their ideal candidate will demonstrate an empowering and friendly attitude and ideally possess previous experience of working in a similar setting with adults with learning disabilities. However, they will also consider applications from people with a positive attitude and transferable skills. Fully funded apprenticeships are available to support you to gain Level 2 in Health and Social Care if needed.About our client:They offer high-quality Day Services to adults with learning disabilities.
