The Cyber Security Solution Architect Role:
The Cyber Security Solution Architect works within the Cyber Security Business division as a subject matter expert for Managed Security Services and our Cyber Security Operations Centre as a Service (CSOSaaS) related services. Working closely with the Sales team to deliver technically viable and transformative solutions. The Sales team will work on client cyber security transformation plans with multiple service solutions; relying on the Cyber Security Solution Architect to specifically design and provide guidance as part of a broader solution.
The primary purpose is to support sales target attainment of new business and client upsell; this is achieved by understanding the cyber maturity of the client their threat landscape and technically viable solutions that address business pains. This will probably involve working with other teams to leverage expertise, including the GRC, Security Solutions, and Penetration Testing consultancy teams as well as the Public Cloud and Connectivity teams.
The Cyber Security team is passionate about cyber maturity and is often referred to as the Trusted Advisor to the client. We are always looking to provide the best possible outcomes for our clients needs and budgets. This role is expected to be equally passionate about cyber security and help drive the growth of the cyber practice.
+ Degree or A-Level Educated
+ Must have degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering and Information Systems or related, with a focus or major in IT Security being highly desirable
+ Proven experience of delivering consistent client and business success
+ Must have at least 5 years of strong hands-on experience in IT Security with at least 3 years in technical solutioning and presales
+ Working experience in MSSP and familiar with CSOC operations
+ Working technical knowledge of security technologies (across multiple domains such as SIEM, Firewall, Network IPS, DLP, Cloud Security etc), information security concepts and familiar with security products (Sentinel, Chronicle, AlienVault, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Splunk, McAfee, Symantec etc) and the security market place.
+ Professional security related qualification such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GIAC or equivalent are highly desirable
+ Working knowledge and familiarity with GRC and Offensive Security consulting services (e.g. penetration testing, PCI audit, security assessment) is highly desirable (pre-sales perspective)
+ Working knowledge and familiarity with Virtualization and Cloud technology is desirable
+ Broad experience and understanding of:
– regulatory framework and guidelines in the region is highly desirable
– industry standards, framework and best practices such as ISO27001, PCI DSS, NIST, etc is highly desirable
– security trend, threat landscape and framework such as MITRE ATT&CK
+ Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities
