Excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Marketing Coordinator to join a dynamic team at this heritage British Lighting Designer and Manufacturer founded in the 1930s.

For over 85 years we have produced an incomparable series of practical lighting ideally suited for both commercial and domestic interiors. From the creation of the iconic Original 1227™ desk lamp to the development of extended collections by esteemed industrial designer Sir Kenneth Grange, to recent collaborations with fashion designers Paul Smith and Margaret Howell, design integrity remains at the heart of this progressive British brand. Today, Anglepoise lamps can be found in homes, offices, restaurants, bars, and hotels in over 50 countries.

As Marketing Coordinator you will have responsibility for delivering day to day marketing and ecommerce activity, reporting to the Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Materials and Tools:

+ Coordinate, implement and develop all social media for our business (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) alongside our external agencies including both organic and paid activity.
+ Update our website (using our CMS) making modifications and updates to products, projects, blogs, etc.
+ Manage incoming press enquiries including sending images, product information and co-ordinating product samples.
+ Assist in the design and layout of selected online and printed marketing materials
+ Create visual assets (stills, animations, video) and edit image files for use across our ecommerce site and social channels.
+ Support digital ad platforms and produce reports from Data Studio, Google Analytics etc
+ Manage email lists and eCRM alongside our external agency partners
+ Creation and ongoing management of graphic templates for newsletters, invitations, events, social posts, price lists etc

Technical Knowledge:

+ Good level of competence in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
+ Good graphic design experience (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop)
+ Good general editing skills for stills and video
+ Good understanding of Google Analytics
+ Good technical ability with CMS and online tools
+ Develop and maintain a good understanding of Anglepoise product range
+ Photography and videography skills not essential but desirable

Project Management:

+ Responsible for managing designated marketing projects
+ Establishes project specific goals, communicates them effectively to all project stakeholders, and devises strategies in order to meet them effectively and efficiently
+ Creates and executes appropriate project work plans and revises them as required to meet changing needs and requirements
+ Identifies resources required and assigns individual responsibilities
+ Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope

Candidate

We are looking for a highly driven person with experience of marketing in a brand based business. You will have:

+ Solid relevant experience of marketing
+ Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline
+ Excellent communication skills, particularly written.
+ Strong social media experience
+ Good technical ability with CMS and online tools
+ Good graphic design experience
+ An all-encompassing desire to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
