The .Net Developer Role:

Reporting into the Head of Development we are looking for a talented .Net Developer to create and maintain bespoke applications and reports, to fulfill customer requirements as identified by the Support and Implementation process.

The role involves dealing professionally with both internal and external customers via any available means. A major part of the role is to ensure any inadequacies with specifications received are resolved prior to work commencing with the Quality Assurance department.

Other duties include; creating tablet and mobile applications to meet customer requirements that work alongside the main WinMan application, core code development including bug fixes and new features for monthly software patches.

Main Tasks:

+ Work closely with other parties (Support, Implementations, Customers) to finalise specifications and quotations for new bespoke work.
+ Design and code software in line with quality standards.
+ Deliver work on time, tested and complete, in line with the specification and due dates set by the customer.
+ Ensuring any and all instructions required, are advised to the relevant parties.
+ Manage individual cases to ensure satisfactory outcomes for the recipient, including informing the recipient of changes to any agreed time frames.
+ Maintain up to date skills / knowledge sets necessary to perform the role.
+ Creation / amendment of professional level Reports (SSRS).
+ TSQL Performance Enhancement.
+ Create Winforms applications.

About You:

+ Degree or equivalent preferably in a computer related subject
+ High level of numeracy and literacy
+ High level of computer literacy
+ Excellent knowledge of T-SQL
+ Excellent Knowledge of . NET
+ Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JS
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
+ VB.Net
+ Analytical / Problem solving
+ Motivated / determined / pro-active
+ A professional manner when dealing with all customers via all means
+ Excellent organisational skills
+ A clear and methodical approach to work.
+ C# .Net (desirable)
