The Senior Account Director will have direct responsibility for the output of the Video/Display/Audio and Paid Social teams. Initially creating a best-in-class playbook for how this sports retailer should buy Media, ensuring innovation and constant challenge to the norm.

You'll be the driving force for strategy, tool selection and the lead on many Global projects (dashboards, attribution/media mix modelling etc.)
Leading a team of 10 you lead from the front. Instilling a great work ethic, constant development & training and ensuring everyone does the best work of their lives.
In addition, you'll work with the Global team and stakeholders at the agency to share and showcase EMEA's work

Responsibilities of the role:

Deep understanding of how Video/Display/Audio and Paid Social integrate with other channels and development of Best Practice Guidelines
Develop planning & buying frameworks for channels in the 70/20/10 method
Establish and nurture a relationship with all key partners (Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snap, Pinterest, TikTok, Google, etc.) and develop annual JBPs and a QBR process for the team partners
Build and maintain relationships with Clients, Client Leads, as well as offering strategic guidance to help grow the business and strengthen the relationship
Support Senior leadership and line manager with regular updates on up-and-coming innovation, changes to industry landscape, best practices sharing in addition to ensuring the team is resourced correctly
Manage Talent through goal setting & feedback cycles in addition to ensuring team wellbeing through monitoring holiday usage, sick days and even more regular contact during this remote working time
Identify and drive the implementation of the right technology to reduce manual workload and streamline reporting, Campaign execution and analysis
Overall responsibility for defining, designing and Execution of all Video/Display/Audio and Paid Social processes, way of working etc. Including improving and scaling what's already in existence, creating new ways of working and eradication of old ineffective and inefficient ways of working
Commercially driven and forward thinking in the expansion of business opportunities, entrepreneurial in mind-set and always looking to develop incremental or new services both centrally and locally
In partnership with Client Teams, Partners, Business and Account Director(s), lead the Video/Display/Audio and Paid Social conversation for the client
Ensuring the team area creating, maintaining and prioritising roadmaps for each channel's development (covering testing, innovation, growth and other elements associated with industry goals)
Deliver accurate and insightful reporting (leveraging the dashboarding system) to provide actionable optimisations/next steps to improve Campaign performance
Key requirements:

A passion for sports
Substantial demonstratable success in managing and leading large teams
Significant experience working in a senior role in the digital media space
Proven success in stakeholder management and ability to build relationships with clients and partners
Proven commercial success of driving business growth and creating new revenue streams
Proven track record in performance media and e-commerce and good understanding of the wider media mix
Strong technology understanding (AdTech and MarTech) as well as attribution models, cross-channel planning and buying, etc
Leadership role in performance marketing is a must
