Finance Business Partner role working for a leading charity in their field. This is a temporary to permanent role.Client DetailsMy client is a charity that aims to raise awareness of the causes and impact of poverty in the UKDescriptionLine management of a team of two including supporting their professional development.Supervise the day-to-day transactional processing within accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit control and banking. Ensuring income and expenditure is coded to the correct fund codes in the finance system. To be fully responsible for all balance sheet reconciliations including monthly bank reconciliations To review monthly preparation of bank reconciliations, AR and AP ledgers.Ensure processes within the transactional team are documented and up to date, suggesting improvements or changes where appropriate. Manage the month end process including ensuring timetable is adhered to and posting journals. Prepare the monthly payroll for all staff, liaising with the outsourced payroll bureau. Ensure monthly allocation of salary costs to the different cost centres and projects. To ensure commercial procedures are effective and initiate process change where necessary to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.To regularly analyse Microsoft GP, Management Reporter (MR) and CRM. To routinely provide analysis and insight linking financial reporting to business performance. To use MR to assist and be the point of contact for budget holders so as to ensure ongoing monitoring of actual expenditure and income against budgets.To build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with all budget holders and their teams and be the link between the Director of finance and budget holders. To be the link between Director of finance and resources and budget holders during the budgeting period. To be the point of contact for finance IT issues - GP, Management Reporter and CRM. Produce draft management accounts and Budgets when required. To provide cover for the Director of finance and resources and the Projects and IT officer when required. To perform any other duties as reasonably required by the Director of finance and resourcesProfileTo be considered for this role you must have worked in a charity environment previously, be part qualified and be available at short notice.Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is desirable.Job OfferThe role will be initially home based for the next few months and will eventually return to the offices once their offices reopen.The role is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis and is paying £20-22ph.
