An excellent opportunity for an experienced Business & Quality Support Analyst to join a friendly team with a mission, in a pleasant working environment on the University campus in Canterbury.

The core focus will be our data, how we process it, how we define and test applications that use it and how the customer and in-house experience can be improved when interacting with the data.

Who are we:

We provide speech and language support packages for schools. These help teachers work with children who may have problems with understanding the language used in the classroom or producing speech sounds. The support packages are accessed through a web portal.

The Business & Quality Support Analyst role:

We are currently recruiting for a Business & Quality Support Analyst where you will work with the project owner from the beginning for both customer facing and in-house systems to help ensure the requirements have been captured correctly and tests defined to check the correct system is being built, to the correct standard. You will also assist in story creation to ensure acceptance criteria are clear.

You will be expected to become familiar with our data structure at a detailed level, understanding how our interfaces interact with the underlying data and consequently being able to identify where problems are likely to have arisen.

You will lead software testing both overseeing developer test creation and ensuring intelligent application of final stage testing based on your knowledge of our data, systems and business goals. Change impact analysis and overseeing or performing regression testing is an important part of this role.

Involvement with existing systems is an important part of this role, bringing knowledge of underlying data to analysis and remediation of problems as they arise and gaining an understanding of why the problem occurred.

The ideal candidate will have:

+ Experience of Business Analysis and Quality Assurance is essential together with knowledge of software testing.
+ Experience of working in a busy environment with multidisciplinary teams
+ You will ideally be working in a similar role such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance or Software Testing (the role is unlikely to be suitable for a candidate who only has experience of Software Testing
+ Outstanding communication skills
+ Excellent analytical thinker
