Location: London

Annual Part-Time Salary: £13,500

An exciting opportunity to join our Gabbitas finance team as an Assistant Accountant. You will initially be working from home and later will be required to be present in the London office part-time, 2-3 days per week.

Role and responsibilities:
  • Overseeing incoming and outgoing transactions and invoices
  • Assisting management with the preparation of forecasts and budgets
  • Monitoring the cash flow of the company
  • Maintaining financial ledgers and accounting processes
  • Assisting management in other finance related matters
  • Providing support to company Directors as and when required


The ideal candidate:
  • Part-qualified, studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent
  • An ambitious self-starter with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment
  • Computer literate, with strong Excel skills and a solid understanding of accounting software principles
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
  • A team-player who performs well under pressure, whilst also ensuring that at all times the work produced is of a high quality and is completed in a timely manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • An enthusiastic person who is organised, diligent, proactive and hardworking
  • The ability to speak Mandarin would be a plus but is not essential
