Our apprentices follow a four-year training scheme, the first of which is spent "off the job" at a Warwickshire College. During this year candidates can expect to gain a thorough grounding in the key areas required for a career in modern engineering before attending the GE Power Conversion, Rotating Machines site.
The following three years will consist of practical training in the various manufacturing and engineering disciplines across all process elements. This presents an excellent opportunity for the candidate to develop hands on-skills and begin a career in rotating electrical machines manufacturing.
Candidates will be closely linked to a course of study which will, at a minimum, lead to the attainment of an NVQ level 3 qualification. What do you need to offer us?
Successful candidates will have / be expecting a minimum of a grade 5 or above in English, Math's and either a Science or Technology based subject.
