Registered Nurse: RMN/RGN for inpatient substance misuse service in Nottingham
This is an exciting opportunity to join Framework's substance misuse inpatient service; we are looking to appoint an appropriately qualified and skilled person to take on the role of Staff Nurse within the inpatient detox unit.
Edwin House is a specialist inpatient facility providing service users from across the country with access to treatment for detoxification from alcohol and illicit substances. Edwin House Inpatient Detox has established itself as one of the leading detox providers in the country.
The role of the Staff Nurse incorporates taking charge of a shift on a regular basis, assessing service users by telephone prior to admission, liaising with referrers and other specialist external agencies, designing plans of care specific to service user need, dispensing medication including controlled drugs, in addition to monitoring, reviewing and evaluating treatment plans, which include recovery focussed group and 1 to1 interventions.
This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to join a well-established MDT and to take an active role in the continued development and promotion of the inpatient service.
