Senior Legacy Operations Manager (1 year Secondment/FTC) Location: Stratford 1-2 days per week (expect significant homeworking to begin with) Salary: £42-52k Hours: Full-Time / Flexible Working Closing Date: 13th MayWe will be shortlisting as we receive applications and there is a possibility that this role may close early. We therefore encourage early applications to avoid disappointment. We're looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team on a fixed term contract. In this role, you will be a visible and active member of our leadership team, helping us to review how we resource workflow of a busy team. You'll have track record of managing people including within a matrix structure. You'll also be a creative thinker, who is used to complex / multi-functional processes. Key?Accountabilities:? ? Plan and prioritise Legacies operational activities to optimise the use of operational support resource? Lead and support the Legacy Operations team, creating a culture of service excellence and accountability, ensuring activities are aligned to the Legacy operating plan and strategy? Ensure excellent cross-team collaboration and communication, ensuring that operational and data processes are clearly understood.? Accountable for line managing, leading and developing a team to deliver high performance against objectives.? Establish and provide direction for a governance framework for Legacies data management and reporting.? Working with the Performance Manager and Programme Manager, oversee the Legacies reporting portfolio, ensuring it delivers key data insights in a timely, consistent and user-friendly format to allow?cross-functional?teams to operate effectively and maximise Legacy income? Working closely with Finance, lead on the coordination of the annual audit process for Legacies.?Liaise and negotiate, as required, with key internal stakeholders to realise improvements to team operations. Work closely with the Fundraising Compliance Team to maintain oversight of and provide direction on all matters relating to risk and compliance in the Legacies department, ensuring that the Legacy department's approach is aligned and consistent. Key Technical Skills, Knowledge,?Experience?and Behaviours:? ? Extensive experience of operational and resource planning? Significant experience building collaborative and effective relationships with internal stakeholders? Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to quickly get buy in and work collaboratively? Proven ability to work on own initiative, assess priorities and be proactive in making recommendations? Experience of line management and matrix management Strategic thinking; making future focussed, data driven decisions and articulating these clearly? A proven commitment to continuous performance improvement and the capability to lead change and drive new ways of working in a?dynamic and diverse organisation?
