Finance and Operations Manager | Wymondham | Engineering and Manufacturing | £40,000 - £50,000

Langham Recruitment is supporting a leading Norfolk based engineering organisation whose market-leading products are used by prestigious global automotive brands.

They are seeking an experienced Finance / Business Operations Manager to join the leadership team and oversee the finance, HR and IT functions.

The role:


  • Management and development of the finance and HR functions across a growing automotive engineering business.
  • Financial reporting and management, including management accounts, bookkeeping and management.
  • Resource management - allocating resource as required to ensure key objectives and deadlines are met.
  • Management of KPI metrics, reports and dashboards to support the management of transactional finance functions
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Managing procurement and an international supply chain and working closely with the relevant teams to ensure that stock and inventory arrives on time.
  • Overall control of the HR function.
  • Manage the IT function


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record as a finance manager whose experience can cover business operations: capturing user requirements; interacting with key stakeholders to gather information
  • Experience in managing other functions alongside finance, ideally IT and HR.
  • Experience in engineering or manufacturing sector and knowledge procurement processes in the sector
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Proactive problem solver, resourceful, demonstrates initiative, has a can-do attitude, works well independently
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications, ideally an experienced user of Payroll systems ie Sage.


Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary in the range of £40,000 - £50,000 with competitive benefits package
